It connects to our Thrive AirLink devices, which mount under the valve box lid. The devices run on the Amazon Sidewalk network, which covers about 95% of the populated United States, so they aren’t cell or wifi based.

Do I need WiFi or cell service to use the Thrive AirLink™?
No. AirLink isn’t cell or wifi based. It runs on the Amazon Sidewalk network, which covers about 95% of the populated United States. When do I pay for my beta unit?

How many stations can one Thrive Cloud Controller manage?

Do I still need a physical controller on the wall?
No. The Thrive Cloud Controller replaces the wall-mounted controller. All programming, mapping, and station control happens in the Thrive app.

Each AirLink is powered by two 9-volt batteries with a projected life of 1 to 1.5 years, and the app alerts you when it’s time to swap them.
