However if you choose to mount the Receiver somewhere else be sure to keep the same orientation as shown in the Installation Instructions. Make sure that the ‘Ribs’ are always facing up toward the sky and the LEDs are facing down toward the ground. Do not mount sideways.

You may purchase a 120-volt to 24 VAC, step-down transformer from your local irrigation distributor and power the Transmitter with this device.

The product is shipped w/ Lithium batteries and are expected to last 1-1.5 years depending on usage.

Yes, but keep in mind that Alkali batteries are expected to have a much shorter service life.
